
Euglossa (Euglossa) viridissima Firese, 1899 [Lectotype: NMW; ♂ Mexico] Euglossa viridissima was recently reported for the first time in BCP (Brindis et al., 2018). Within the BCP, this neotropical species has been exclusively found in the Sacrocauluscent Shrubland within the CTR. The BBPT collected eight females in Todos Santos in 2020 and 2021. This additional sampling supports the hypothesis that populations of E. viridissima are well established in the BCP, as previously suggested by Falcón-Brindis et al. (2018).
