Abstract

Die Architektin Verena Fuhrimann war an der SAFFA 1958 für die Gestaltung der Halle Eltern und Kinder zuständig. Der Aufbau der Ausstellung, die Gestaltung des Blumenbeets im Innenhof sowie die Farbgebung weisen formale und inhaltliche Bezüge zu Paul Klees Bildnerische Gestaltungslehre auf. Dieses theoretische Werk des Malers wurde zwei Jahre zuvor, im Jahr 1956, durch das Erscheinen der Publikation Paul Klee. Das bildnerische Denken. Form- und Gestal- tungslehre erstmals einem breiteren Publikum zugänglich. Die Ausstellungsarchitektur Verena Fuhrimanns zeigt, wie Paul Klees Unterrichtsmaterial, vor allem seine Aussagen zum Regenbogen, Farbenkreis und seine »irregulären« und »abweichenden« Konstruktionen, rezipiert, abgewandelt und kombiniert wurde und wie die von Jürg Spiller herausgegebene Publikation eine entscheidende Rolle dabei spielte.
