The article gives a brief theoretical analysis of the problem of child-parent relations in adolescence. The main attention is paid to the consideration of the peculiarities of young people's relations with biological fathers and stepfathers. The results of the empirical study of the peculiarities of child-parental relations of adolescents with fathers and stepfathers are presented. The relationship between the causes of conflicts between adolescents and men (fathers/ stepfathers) who raise them and styles of family upbringing is characterized. The differences in the causes of conflicts in adolescent-father and adolescent-stepfather pairs are described.
