A MEDICINA E OS OBJETIVOS ATUAIS DA ANTROPOLOGIA FORENSE

Abstract

A relação entre a medicina e a antropologia forense tem sido cada vez mais estreita e colaborativa. A medicina forense é uma área da medicina que se dedica à investigação e resolução de crimes, enquanto a antropologia forense utiliza técnicas arqueológicas e antropológicas para examinar restos humanos e outros vestígios. Ambas as áreas têm um papel fundamental na investigação de crimes e na identificação de restos humanos em desastres naturais ou conflitos armados. O objetivo geral desta pesquisa foi analisar a relação entre a medicina e os objetivos atuais da antropologia forense, considerando sua importância para a investigação de crimes e a identificação de restos humanos. Esta pesquisa foi uma revisão sistemática de literatura, que consistiu na coleta, seleção e análise de artigos científicos publicados nos últimos 5 anos. Os resultados alcançados evidenciaram que a medicina e a antropologia forense desempenham um papel fundamental na investigação de crimes e na identificação de restos humanos. A pesquisa sugere a necessidade de uma abordagem complementar entre as duas disciplinas, além de diretrizes éticas e legais para aprimorar as práticas de identificação.
