Abstract

A mamografia é uma radiografia da mama, que detecta as lesões iniciais do câncer de mama, o qual é responsável pelos maiores índices de mortalidade no mundo, tornando-se um problema em saúde pública, no que diz respeito à saúde da mulher. No Brasil foram estimados para o ano de 2014 cerca de 57.120 diagnósticos de câncer de mama, com risco de 56,09 casos a cada 100 mil mulheres.
