Intervención psicológica desde la frontera norte de México

Abstract

Este libro reúne 13 capítulos derivados de los trabajos terminales de la primera y segunda generación de la Maestría en Psicología de la Universidad Autónoma de Baja California (UABC). Este programa se creó para atender las necesidades de intervención psicológica en contextos sociales a nivel individual, grupal y comunitario, con el objetivo de abordar, principalmente, las problemáticas propias de la frontera norte del país, como las adicciones y las violencias sociales y de género, por nombrar algunas. Este libro se divide en dos partes: la primera —de siete capítulos— se titula “Intervención psicosocial y comunitaria”; la segunda —de seis capítulos—, “Bienestar psicológico y social”. El desarrollo de los trabajos presentados tuvo como contexto más amplio la pandemia por COVID-19 para la primera generación, y para la segunda, el regreso a las aulas y centros de trabajo, entre otros espacios. Lo anterior derivó en la necesidad de generar no solo diferentes estrategias para el diagnóstico e intervención, sino que además se requirió comprender y situar los problemas a partir de las condiciones psicológicas y sociales de esta pandemia.
