Cet article questionne la pratique de la photographie par Nicolas Bouvier dans ses voyages et la façon dont les images prises au cours de ses déplacements suggèrent une itinérance en tant qu’état. Pratiquant la prise de vue comme la prise de note, Bouvier consigne ses perceptions et ses rencontres par le médium de la photographie. Au sein de motifs photographiques renvoyant à l’expérience du voyage (la route, la prise de vue de détails en gros plan, l’insouciance technique), le ressenti du déplacement se fait voir, tout comme la subjectivité de l’écrivain-voyageur.
