Abstract

El presente trabajo pretende valorar los aportes de Michel Foucault desde los conceptos de Gubernamentalidad y bio-política para una conceptualización de la Hegemonía. Su contexto es, en primera instancia, el de una crítica del idealismo discursivo de Ernesto Laclau, que no reconoce al discurso como resultado de un sistema de relaciones disciplinares, operadas sobre los cuerpos y el medio. Por otra parte, tal crítica es indispensable también para contestar la incapacidad del Pensamiento Crítico Latinoamericano de articular los cambios operados por el neoliberalismo en los procesos subjetivos de producción, afectos, institucionalidad y comunicación. En tal sentido las nociones foucaultianas permiten fundamentar el carácter contingente y discursivo de la Hegemonía, dando cuenta del sistema de prácticas disciplinares que su economía política comporta. El tratamiento del Estado y Sociedad Civil por el pensador francés será óbice para una crítica de la razón neoliberal, como presentada por Dardot y Laval. El estudio demuestra, en el contexto latinoamericano, como el neoliberalismo es resultado de un proceso de disputa hegemónica de imposición de los intereses coloniales de dominación a partir de un nuevo marco subjetivo.
