‘Anything goes*’ i norskfaget?

Abstract

Artikkelen undersøker korleis den fleirspråklege vendinga (the multilingual turn) (May, 2014; Conteh & Meier, 2014) utgjer ei epistemisk utfordring for skulefaget norsk. Med utgangspunkt i Tenfjords (1993) analyse av norsk som andrespråk som forskings- og fagfelt i Noreg, og Randen (2022) si drøfting av transspråking og andrespråksfeltet etter den fleirspråklege vendinga, vert Thomas S. Kuhn (1962/2012) sitt paradigmeomgrep nytta som analytisk ramme for å forstå forholdet mellom normalvitskap, krise og teoretisk pluralisme. Analysen viser korleis den fleirspråklege vendinga utfordrar fagets etablerte doxa og normative føresetnader, og korleis nye perspektiv ofte vert integrerte additivt utan å omforma fagets struktur. Vidare drøftar artikkelen konsekvensar for faglege normer, for synet på språk- og språkkompetanse og for norskfaget si vidare faglege utvikling, og reiser spørsmål om korleis fagleg stabilitet og epistemisk fornying kan sameinast i eit veletablert skulefag. * «Feyerabend (1988) sitt slagord for den ideelle forskningssituasjonen» (Tenfjord, 1993, s. 102).
