El trabajador etnificado: un mapa conceptual para la sociología del trabajo

Abstract

Los cien números publicados por la revista Sociología del Trabajo permiten rastrear las huellas dejadas por la condición inmigrante en la estructura social del trabajo en España, así como elaborar preguntas de investigación que permitan extender el análisis sociológico del trabajo al que desempeñan los inmigrantes. En este artículo se aborda aproximación al mapa conceptual de las relaciones entre etnicidad y trabajo con los siguientes elementos: un llamamiento a la vigilancia epistemológica para que la “razón imperialista” no imponga conceptos inapropiados para otros contextos como el español; una demostración de las realidades que la perspectiva de la etnicidad permite visibilizar en el mundo del trabajo y los trabajadores; los cambios en curso en el mercado laboral por la segmentación étnica del trabajo; el sindicalismo y la acción colectiva de los trabajadores inmigrantes, y finalmente, algunas consideraciones sobre la explotación del cuerpo inmigrante.
