Abstract

El artículo aborda el tema de la memoria a través del testimonio oral y el documental construido en base a estos testimonios, centrándose en la labor documental de dos cineastas que, a pesar de las distancias, comparten ciertas preocupaciones comunes: el japones Shohei Imamura y el Brasileño/ mozambiqueño Licinio Azevedo. Ambos están preocupados por la intrahistoria y devolver la voz a aquellos que han sido silenciados por la gran Historia. Y ambos comparten preocupaciones por las fronteras e hibridaciones entre ficción y documental. De esta forma, el análisis reflexiona sobre la contaminación de la realidad y la ficción, el cine como testimonio y como elemento de reivindicación y agitación social, político e ideológico. Y también sobre la honestidad de la mirada unida a decisiones estéticas y narrativas, indisociables unas de otras.
