Abstract

Les nanocomposites sont l’une des avancées majeures dans le domaine des matériaux. Ils trouvent des applications dans des secteurs aussi variés que l’aéronautique, l’énergie ou encore l’environnement. L’utilisation efficace des nanorenforts nécessite cependant des connaissances et des outils nouveaux pour surmonter les difficultés liées à cette échelle et pouvoir ainsi bénéficier des avantages qu’ils apportent.Nanocomposites présente les progrès récents, académiques et industriels, réalisés dans ce domaine, ainsi que les dernières recherches sur l’utilisation efficace des charges et des renforts nanométriques pour améliorer les performances des nanocomposites avancés. Il décrit également les techniques et les outils utilisés pour préparer les nanocomposites, y compris les dernières techniques de synthèse et de traitement de surface des nanocharges pour différentes applications. Il détaille enfin le rôle de la nanoscience dans la conception, la caractérisation et la modélisation multi-échelle de ces matériaux, en mettant l’accent sur les phénomènes à l’échelle nanométrique.
