ANQUILOGLOSSIA E SUA INTERFERÊNCIA NO ALEITAMENTO MATERNO

Abstract

A amamentação é um processo natural e essencial para o desenvolvimento saudável do bebê, proporcionando nutrientes, proteção imunológica e um vínculo afetivo único entre mãe e filho. No entanto, algumas mães e bebês podem enfrentar desafios ao longo desse processo, como a presença de um freio lingual curto, também conhecido como anquiloglossia. Este estudo utilizou uma revisão da literatura científica para investigar a interferência da anquiloglossia na amamentação, analisando os impactos na pega, sucção e na saúde materna. Os achados indicam que a anquiloglossia compromete a movimentação da língua, prejudicando a amamentação eficiente e gerando desconforto tanto para a mãe quanto para o bebê. Além disso, o estudo discute as opções de diagnóstico e tratamento, destacando a frenotomia como uma intervenção eficaz para melhorar a amamentação. Conclui-se que o diagnóstico precoce e o tratamento adequado são essenciais para garantir o sucesso do aleitamento materno em casos de anquiloglossia.
