Abstract

Sistem informasi kepegawaian merupakan kegiatan penting dalam lembaga, perusahaan, kantor dan lembaga lainnya. Itu juga salah satu fungsi sistem informasi yang memfasilitasi manajemen informasi. Dengan bantuan sistem berita ini maka perlu dirancang suatu sistem pengolahan informasi pegawai agar menjadi informasi yang lengkap dan jelas. Dengan dukungan sistem komputer, pekerjaan struktur yang sebelumnya dikendalikan secara manual dapat menjadi sistem pengoperasian yang lebih efisien, akurat, serta mutu dan kualitas teknik kerjanya yang terjamin. Perkembangan teknologi semakin cepat, segala fasilitasnya membantu aktivitas manusia baik secara individu maupun kelompok. Komputer merupakan bukti perkembangan teknologi ini, komputer telah digunakan sebagai alat kerja hampir di semua lapisan masyarakat mulai dari dunia pendidikan, manajemen dan bisnis maupun di organisasi. Pengumpulan data secara manual dianggap tidak efisien dan memakan waktu, karena semua kegiatan perencanaan waktu pegawai harus dicatat di BAPPEDA saat melakukan kegiatan perencanaan pegawai. Kajian ini dilakukan di Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan Daerah (BAPPEDA) Sumatera Utara Sistem diubah menjadi transfer informasi kepegawaian berbasis web. Bahasa pemrogramannya adalah HTML, PHP, CSS dan MySQL sebagai databasenya. Ini perlu, lebih mudah bagi manajer untuk mengelola kegiatan pegawai secara efektif. Tujuan pada penelitian ini yaitu merancang sebuah sistem informasi pribadi yang diharapkan bisa membuat kontibusi bagi hasil Industri dalam aspek sistem informasi kepegawaian.
