Image captioning using artificial intelligence is a growing trend. This is formally known as automatic image annotation- a process by which a computer system will generate an automatic textual description to a corresponding image by making use of NLP (Natural Language Processing) and Computer Vision. In today’s day and age where visual data is abundant, Image Captioning plays a significant role in various applications and in recent years, it has gained a lot of study attention in the field of cognitive computing. This research paper contains the analysis and comparison of a few common and efficient image caption generation methods.
