Tratamiento a demanda en población con hemofilia A y B : experiencia de cinco años

Abstract

Introducción: la hemofilia es una enfermedad caracterizada por la deficiencia de factor VIII o IX y de acuerdo al nivel de factor se clasifica en leve, moderada o severa. Los pacientes leves, moderados sin fenotipo sangrador reciben tratamiento a demanda o por evento y puede requerir factor en el escenario de sangrado, intervención o cirugía. Este grupo requiere un seguimiento integral aún no sean requirentes regulares de factor. Objetivo: describir la población en tratamiento de una cohorte de hemofilia y las características de la población en el grupo de tratamiento a demanda. Materiales y métodos: se incluyen hombres con hemofilia A y B, niños y adultos, sin inhibidores, que se encuentran en seguimiento por un programa de hemofilia y en modalidad de tratamiento a demanda, definida como los pacientes con diagnóstico de hemofilia A y B, severa, moderada o leve en tratamiento con concentrado de factor en casos de sangrados o necesidad de procedimientos con riesgo de sangrado. Se toma el periodo comprendido entre el 1° de enero de 2015 al 31 de diciembre de 2019. Se realiza un análisis estadístico descriptivo.
