EFECTO DEL GENOTIPO EN LA MICROPROPAGACIÓN DE TOMATE DE CÁSCARA

Abstract

Se investigó la capacidad de inducción y alargamiento in vitro, enraizamiento, aclimatación y estabilidad cromosómica de plantas en diez variedades de Physalis ixocarpa Brot. Se encontró efecto del genotipo en las cuatro etapas de la micropropagación; en inducción de brotes, la proporción de explantes con brotes varió de 0 a 70 %, el número de brotes por explante fue de 0 a 21.3 y las mejores variedades fueron 'Tamazula', 'CHF1-Chapingo' y 'Rendidora' original. Durante el alargamiento, los brotes presentaron alturas de 2.5 a 3.7 cm, 4 a 5 hojas 104 a 160 mg de peso fresco y 94.7 a 96.1 % de contenido de agua; las variedades CHF1-Chapingo, Milpero y Arandas dieron la mejor respuesta. En enraizamiento, los brotes produjeron de 26.6 a 65.6 raíces con una longitud de 0.7 a 1.5 cm, donde 'Manzano¡ y 'Puebla' fueron las mejores variedades. El periodo crítico de aclimatación de las plantas fueron los primeros siete días después del transplante, pero se logró una supervivencia de 100 %. Todas las plantas regeneradas in vitro fueron 2n=24, lo que indica estabilidad cromosómica durante el cultivo in vitro.
