Abstract

Çağımızın en çok insanı etkileyen küresel pandemisi Covid-19 solunumsal tutuluma ilave olarak kalpte akut miyokardit ,miyokard enfarktüsü ve aritmilere yol açabilmektedir.Covid-19 hem direkt kardiyak hasara yol açmakta hem de mevcut olan kardiyak durumların ani ölüm de dahil tüm komplikasyonlarını arttırmaktadır. Pandemi sürdükçe uzun dönemde farklı kardiyak tutulumlar ortaya çıkmış ve bu tutulumların yelpazesini daha iyi anlamak için daha fazla araştırmaya ihtiyaç vardır. Klinisyenler hem mevcut tedavilerin potansiyel kardiyak yan etkileri ve etkileşimleri konusunda uyanık olmalı hem de kardiyak tutulumun farkında olmalı ve hasarı azaltmaya çalışmalıdır. Covid-19 tedavilerinde kullanılan ilaçlar ve doğrudan miyokard hasarı aritmi insidansını akut dönemde arttırmakta uzun dönemde de Covid-19 uygunsuz sinüs taşikardisi ve posturel ortostatik taşikardi sendromu (POTS) ile ilişkili bulunmuştur,
