Crescimento Celular e Produção de Ácido Hialurônico por Streptococcus zooepidemicus ATCC 39920

Abstract

RESUMO O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar o crescimento celular e a producao de acido hialuronico por Streptococcus zooepidemicus ATCC 39920. O cultivo foi realizado em batelada em meio BHI (Infusao de Cerebro e Coracao) a 37°C, 150 rpm por 24 horas. Amostras foram coletadas a cada 2 horas. A velocidade especifica de crescimento microbiano foi de 0,235 h, com uma biomassa de 0,613 g.L apos 12 horas de cultivo, sendo a producao de acido hialuronico 0,215 g/L. O maior valor atingido para o polimero foi de 0,229 g.L apos 24 horas de cultivo.
