Abstract

Objetivos: Se han determinado los rendimientos de la extracción de aceites de la semilla de lúcuma mediante dos solventes distintos, éter de petróleo y N-hexano a nivel laboratorio. Método: Haciendo uso de un equipo soxhlet, se encontraron en ambos casos bajos rendimientos; la extracción con el n-hexano produjo mayor rendimiento; así mismo se obtuvo el perfil de ácidos grasos del aceite crudo obtenido, de cuyos resultados se concluye que contiene un porcentaje importante de ácidos grasos insaturados. Se realizaron análisis de índice de yodo, acidez, puntos de fluidez, enturbiamiento y composición química mediante cromatografía de gases acoplada a masas. Resultados: En general, el aceite obtenido, presenta baja fluidez, bajo contenido de parafinas. Conclusión:Es apto para la elaboración de productos cosméticos.Palabras clave: Ácido graso; Rendimiento; Perfil de ácidos; Soxlet.
