SISTEM PENJADWALAN UJIAN SKRIPSI BERBASIS WEBSITE MENGGUNAKAN ALGORITMA PENJADWALAN PRIORITAS

Abstract

Penjadwalan ujian skripsi di Program Studi Informatika Universitas Alma Ata sering menghadapi kendala akibat proses manual, terutama selama pekan seminar proposal (sempro) dan seminar hasil (semhas). Permasalahan utama meliputi ketidaksesuaian jadwal program studi dengan ketersediaan ruangan dari akademik, serta banyaknya permintaan penjadwalan ulang oleh mahasiswa. Hal ini berdampak pada pelaksanaan ujian yang tidak optimal dan menambah beban administratif koordinator program studi, termasuk kesulitan mengakomodasi ketersediaan dosen pembimbing serta penguji. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan membangun sistem penjadwalan ujian skripsi berbasis website dengan Algoritma Penjadwalan Prioritas untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model Waterfall untuk pengembangan sistem. Algoritma Prioritas menentukan urutan jadwal berdasarkan faktor kesiapan mahasiswa (40%), ketersediaan dosen pembimbing (20%), ketersediaan dosen penguji (20%), ketersediaan ruangan (10%), dan ketersediaan waktu (10%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sistem berhasil mengoptimalkan penjadwalan selama pekan sempro dan semhas, mengurangi konflik jadwal, dan meningkatkan efisiensi proses penjadwalan. Pengujian black box mengkonfirmasi fungsionalitas sistem berjalan sesuai harapan. Sistem ini terbukti mampu menghasilkan jadwal yang terstruktur dan adaptif, meningkatkan kelancaran pelaksanaan ujian skripsi.
