Abstract

El estragón (Artemisia dracunculus L.) es una planta aromática y medicinal, con gran potencial de exportación y valor comercial competitivo, por lo que es imprescindible evaluar estrategias tendentes a incrementar la producción del cultivo. El objetivo del presente estudio fue evaluar el crecimiento del estragón cultivado en invernadero en respuesta a la inoculación con Trichoderma harzianuam (Rifai) y Glomus cubense (Y. Rodr. & Dalpé), y la combinación de ambos. El estudio se realizó en Cuernavaca, Morelos, México, en donde se utilizaron plántulas que fueron inoculadas con estos microorganismos. El crecimiento del cultivo se evaluó al trasplante y a los 60 días después del trasplante; en cada muestreo se midió el área foliar, índice de verdor (unidades SPAD) y el peso de la biomasa seca en cada planta, lo que permitió el cálculo de las tasas de crecimiento relativo y absoluto del cultivo. La mayor área foliar, índice de verdor, biomasa seca, tasa crecimiento relativo y absoluta del cultivo, se obtuvo con la coinoculación de T. harzianum y G. cubense. La aplicación independiente de T. harzianum generó una mejor respuesta en las variables evaluadas en comparación a G. cubense. En conclusión, la inoculación de los microorganismos rizosféricos incrementó el crecimiento en el cultivo de estragón.
