Peritonitis química aguda secundaria a teratoma de ovario roto

Abstract

La rotura espontánea del teratoma quístico maduro de ovario es rara, pero puede llevar a la aparición de peritonitis química aguda. Una vez que se realiza el diagnóstico, es necesario realizar inmediatamente la cirugía. La resección del tumor y el lavado peritoneal son generalmente suficientes para revertir los efectos. Se presenta un caso de paciente de 35 años quien presentó síntomas de abdomen agudo secundario a peritonitis química aguda de dos días de evolución. Se realizó laparoscopia de emergencia encontrándose aproximadamente 1000 mL de líquido ascítico de color amarillento, no fétido en la cavidad peritoneal y tumoración quística que se originaba del ovario izquierdo. Se realizó salpingooforectomía izquierda y lavado peritoneal. La evaluación anatomopatológica confirmó el diagnóstico de teratoma quístico maduro de ovario.
