Introduction au référentiel EFQM

Abstract

La lettre d’intention de creation de la fondation EFQM a ete signee le 15 septembre 1988 par les dirigeants de 14 grandes entreprises en presence de Jacques Delors, president de la Commission europeenne. Un an plus tard etait officiellement fondee l’organisation dont la finalite etait de promouvoir le management de la « qualite totale » en Europe de l’ouest, afin de creer un avantage competitif sur le marche. L’acronyme « EFQM » designe a la fois : la fondation creee en octobre 1989, chargee de developper l’EFQM aupres des entreprises, et dont la politique generale (mission, vision, objectifs) s’appuie sur huit concepts fondamentaux ; le « modele d’excellence : cadre de travail » pour les entreprises ; la methode d’evaluation RADAR (abreviation de Results, Approaches, Deploy et Assess & Refine ). Pour les responsables ou animateurs qualite auxquels s’adresse cette fiche, les finalites du controle interne peuvent paraitre proches de celles d’une demarche qualite ou d’un systeme de management de la qualite.
