Abstract

On designe par milieu poreux un solide de forme complexe renfermant des cavites appelees pores. Les milieux poreux sont le siege de multiples phenomenes physico-chimiques et de transport. L'etude de ces phenomenes necessite la connaissance des proprietes de stockage des fluides, des proprietes de transferts et eventuellement des proprietes mecaniques. Les transferts de chaleur en milieux poreux sont souvent complexes. Cet article introduit les notions indispensables concernant la caracterisation des milieux poreux, puis etablit une synthese et une initiation a des ouvrages plus specialises.
