Prácticas de crianza en familias neo-rurales en la comuna de Villarrica, Chile.

Abstract

La contraurbanización involucra un flujo de personas que migra desde espacios urbanos a rurales y que transportan consigo nuevas relaciones sociales y espaciales. Sin embargo, poco se ha estudiado respecto al rol que los habitantes neo-rurales le atribuyen al campo como un espacio para la crianza. Esta investigación intenta llenar este vacío analizando las prácticas de crianza que despliegan madres recientemente llegadas a habitar áreas rurales de la comuna de Villarrica, Chile. A partir de una entrevista semiestructurada los resultados muestran cómo las madres construyen en el paisaje del campo un imaginario rural idílico para la crianza y cómo negocian las limitantes geográficas, sociales y culturales que enfrentan en los territorios rurales a momento de desplegar sus prácticas que materializan el imaginario de crianza. Se concluye reflexionando sobre la importancia de generar espacios educativos y de crianza que abran procesos de construcción de comunidad en los territorios receptores de flujos de contraurbanización.
