TRATAMENTOS PRÉ GERMINATIVOS NA PRODUÇÃO DE MASSA VERDE E SECA EM PLÂNTULAS DE SAPUCAINHA

Abstract

A Sapucainha (Carpotroche brasiliensis) é uma árvore de porte médio, atingindo de 5 a 20 metros de altura. Encontrada na mata atlântica e seus frutos possuem alta qualidade nutricional. A pesquisa foi realizada com objetivo de avaliar diferentes tratamentos pré germinativos na produção de massa verde e seca em plântulas de sapucainha. O experimento foi conduzido no viveiro de produção de mudas, com tela de poliolefina 50% de sombreamento, no viveiro do IFES, Campus Santa Teresa, submetendo as sementes aos seguintes tratamentos: imersão por uma hora em: água (testemunha); água com gelo (0ºC), água quente (100ºC), geladeira por 24 horas (10ºC), congelador por 24 horas (-10ºC), e sem as cascas de proteção das sementes, semeadas em sacolas de 1,2 L com substrato formado de terra + esterco bovino (3:1). O delineamento experimental foi inteiramente casualizado (DIC), com 6 tratamentos e quatro repetições, com cada unidade experimental composto de 25 sementes. Após 60 dias da emergência, foi avaliado a massa verde das folhas (MVF); massa seca das folhas (MSA); massa verde da raiz (MVR); massa seca da raiz (MSR). Os dados experimentais foram comparados pelo teste de Tukey em nível de 5% de probabilidade. O uso de tratamentos pré germinativos, apresentou resultados positivos na produção de massa verde e seca de folhas e raízes das plântulas, sendo que a retirada da casca das sementes apresentou os melhores resultados, podendo este tratamento ser indicado para esta espécie.,
