At the beginning of the scientific journey for 2023 of RevSALUS – RACS’ International Scientific Journal (Lusophone Academic Network of Health Sciences), we take stock of the past, we thank all those who contributed to another successful year of the journal, and we envision new goals. Since its begining in 2019, RevSALUS published three regular issues during the year 2022, as well as two additional issues - a total of 35 articles and more than five hundred abstracts from the various areas of life and health sciences. RevSALUS also received, through its electronic platform for managing the Open Journal System editorial process, a total of 40 articles, of which 11 were accepted for publication. Although its international recognition and maturation have been remarkable in the last year, the “pains of growth" require reflections and decision-making that will allow a balanced evolution. Asserting itself more and more as an international scientific journal of and for Lusophony, we intend to move towards achieving the most prestigious indexation bases of health and life sciences.
