<p>La Alumbrera archaeological site is a classical example of a dense fortified settlement of Norwest Argentina late prehispanic societies. Computer based visualization, created through field and laboratory work, allowed to analyze the spatial configuration of the site, understood as the underlying structure of potential movements, encounters and avoidance that are established by walls and other elements such as relief. Two surrounding systems of walls, and two sections (East- West) divided by access and circulation system were visualized through the digital model created. As a result, new interpretations were suggested and further questions and future research lines were posited.</p>
