Abstract

Uno podría afirmar que las confusiones al rededor de los procesos de investigación provienen esencialmente de la multitud de caminos bajo los cuales puede abordarse una investigación, el número ilimitado de paradigmas, de posturas epistemológicas, escuelas de investigación y las posiciones individuales que cada investigador asume desde su experiencia. Así mismo, los estudiantes tienden a pensar que aquello de Investigar es una cuestión aislada, propia de ciertos especializados y eruditos en la materia. Para ser categóricos, la actividad investigativa, conforme a la experiencia, es una actividad que le es propia a todo futuro profesional y que se va construyendo permanentemente, con un poco de información metodológica, rigor pedagógico y sobre todo con un sistemático trabajo o experiencia práctica. Así, pues, ser profesional debe ser sinónimo de ser investigador. Por supuesto que siempre se acude a la pregunta: Qué es investigar ?, o Cómo me doy cuenta que estoy investigando?. Sencillamente uno investiga cuando acude a una biblioteca a enterarse de lo que otros han dicho sobre algún tema, uno investiga cuando se detiene a observar un fenómeno de la realidad, cuando utilizando todos los sentidos y la mente sostenemos conversaciones con la gente sobre temas específicos, cuando analizamos e interpretamos la realidad, etc. En fin de cuentas investigar es una actitud, en nada pasiva, que le permite al hombre enterarse de lo que acontece a su alrededor
