The National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) as part of the CDC, is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA)-certified laboratory partner to perform services for measuring a variety of routine clinical chemistry tests related to certain chronic diseases. This laboratory partner must perform all work necessary to receive, inventory, test, report results, store, administrate the program, and provide NCHS required documentation. During the period of performance, the NCHS will identify approximately 20,000 candidates, perform the interview and medical examinations, and collect specimens for further testing. Specimens will be deidentified and shipped to the performing site laboratory on a weekly basis throughout the year. NCHS is requesting clinical chemistry-related testing and program management services.
