Universidades canarias tras el impacto de la COVID-19: Análisis de discurso sobre la transformación digital

Abstract

El territorio fragmentado del archipiélago canario insta hacia el aprovechamiento de las tecnologías en el contexto educativo. El presente artículo tiene como objetivo analizar las reflexiones surgidas del impacto de la COVID-19 en el ámbito universitario con prospectiva hacia la transformación digital de estas instituciones. En el artículo se presenta un análisis de las reflexiones surgidas en el webinario Universidades Canarias y COVID-19: ¿Preparadas para la transformación digital?, evento realizado por la Cátedra Fundación Mapfre Guanarteme de Tecnología y Educación de la Universidad de La Laguna. Las personas participantes en este webinario fueron seleccionadas por informantes expertos de diferentes ámbitos y universidades, por lo que sus contribuciones son relevantes para comprender las medidas de urgencia tomadas y las líneas futuras para la mejora de nuestras instituciones académicas. Los resultados permiten esclarecer las actuaciones de mayor provecho, las que aún son objeto de mejora y aquellas que serán clave si fuese necesario una nueva y urgente adaptación al medio online.
