Abstract

Como un esfuerzo por divulgar y proteger la biodiversidad del desierto sonorense, esta obra ofrece al lector conocimiento especializado respecto a la clasificación e identificación de más de 100 plantas nativas de Sonora, México. En un lenguaje accesible describe características y aspectos de la importancia ecológica de cada especie, junto a una colección de 370 imágenes. El cambio climático y la sobreexplotación de recursos han puesto en riesgo la diversidad vegetal, por lo que este libro brinda una guía práctica para la identificación de plantas, tarea esencial para la conservación.
