Reutilização de materiais como estratégia de ensino da matemática no ensino fundamental

Abstract

Esse artigo é um recorte do Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso, que teve como tema “A reutilização de materiais como metodologia para o ensino da Estatística no Ensino Fundamental". A pesquisa foi realizada nos 5° e 9° anos do Ensino Fundamental em duas escolas públicas municipais, utilizando os estudos interdisciplinares entre o tema de Meio Ambiente e a Matemática. Este serviu para mostrar a importância da reutilização de materiais através de investigações Estatísticas. Os resultados obtidos de acordo com a pesquisa mostraram que os alunos entenderam o conceito, importância e utilidade da Estatística, bem como da reutilização de materiais para a preservação do meio ambiente. Portanto, observou-se que os discentes compreenderam que a Matemática não é apenas uma matéria isolada repleta de fórmulas, mas que está presente no cotidiano dos alunos.
