APLIKASI EKSTRAKSI WAJAH MENGGUNAKAN ALGORITMA VIOLA JONES

Abstract

Aplikasi ekstraksi wajah menggunakan teknologi pengenalan wajah untuk mengidentifikasi, mengekstraksi, atau menganalisis wajah individu dalam citra atau video. Aplikasi ekstraksi wajah terus mengalami perkembangan pesat dan memiliki berbagai implikasi positif dalam berbagai bidang. Meskipun telah mencapai kemajuan yang signifikan, aplikasi ekstraksi wajah masih memiliki keterbatasan, termasuk sensitivitas terhadap pencahayaan, rotasi, dan variasi lainnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merancang suatu aplikasi ekstraksi wajah berbasis metode Viola Jones. Terdapat empat tahapan pada penelitian ini yaitu pembentukan integral image, pemilihan fitur Haar Like, pelatihan dengan Adaboost, dan pembentukan Cascade Classifier. Dataset citra yang digunakan adalah citra yang diambil secara acak sebanyak 50 citra. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu sebuah aplikasi untuk mendeteksi wajah pada suatu citra, sehingga dilakukan pengujian terhadap data training dan data testing. Hasil akurasi yang didapatkan sebesar 83.3% untuk data training dan 95% untuk data testing. Metode Viola Jones adalah salah satu dari sedikit algoritma yang telah berhasil dan secara efisien dalam deteksi wajah. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan kustomisasi parameter dan pengaturan yang tepat, metode Viola Jones ini dapat digunakan dalam aplikasi yang melibatkan analisis wajah.
