Abstract

Tingkat kekeruhan air merupakan salah satu parameter yang dijadikan kelayakan air baik untuk dikonsumsi maupun keperluan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan menguji alat pendeteksi kadar kekeruhan air berbasis arduino yang dapat mendeteksi air yang keruh lalu memfilternya menjadi air bersih. Metode yang digunakan yaitu nephelometri, sensor akan mendeteksi air keruh yang di masukkan pada wadah pertama dan menampilkan hasilnya pada LCD, apabila hasilnya >25 maka pompa akan otomatis menyala ke filtarasi lalu di sensor kembali untuk mengetahui hasil filtarasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pendeteksi kekeruhan air telah berhasil dibuat menggunakan arduino dengan menggunakan sampel yang telah ditentukan dan melakukan pengujian melalui tahap pembacaan sensor lalu hasil dari pembacaan sensor tersebut akan tampil di LCD, apabila nilai kekeruhan yang tampil pada LCD di wadah satu >25 NTU maka arduino akan mengirimkan output/keluaran untuk mengirim perintah ke relay yang nantinya akan menyalakan pompa untuk memindahkan air dan melakukan tahap filterasi ke wadah dua dan akan dilakukan kembali proses pembacaan tingkat kekeruhan air yang akan tampil pada LCD di wadah dua, jika nilai yang ditampilkan <25 NTU maka air sudah dapat dinyatakan bersih kemudian dipindahkan ke wadah ketiga. Kesimpulan adalah perancangan alat sistem kontrol pendeteksi air keruh ini akan mempermudah masyarakat untuk mengetahui tingkat kekeruhan air dan juga menjadi solusi untuk mendapatkan air bersih untuk kebutuhan sehari-hari serta meminimalisir berbagai macam penyakit akibat air keruh.
