NARRATIVA E ESCATOLOGIA

Abstract

CONTEMPORANEIDADE. VIOLENCIA. MORTE. ESCATOLOGIA. Abstract This text aimsto detect aspects of the violence as a significant element of the Brazilian contemporary narrative. The culture of violence that in the contemporaneity mimics the collapse between the human beings is the metaphor of that novel that resorts to a slaughterhouse as an expression of that precarious level of acquaintanceship. The relationship between men and cattle synthesizes an avoidable situation involving a society that becomes itself problematic in its model. This way, the death has the purpose of detection of an inequality world where the injustice presents its cruelest face. De gados e homens suggests a perspective without return, emphasizing the crime and the barbarism as an unbearable condition. KEYWORDS: NARRATIVE. CONTEMPORANEITY. VIOLENCE. DEATH. ESCHATOLOGY
