Celulitis disecante del cuero cabelludo

Abstract

La celulitis disecante del cuero cabelludo es una alopecia del tipo neutrofílica que pertenece al grupo de las alopecias cicatriciales primarias. Se considera una dermatosis inflamatoria de curso crónico, recurrente, que afecta principalmente a los hombres de raza negra. Se caracteriza por la formación de nódulos dolorosos y supurativos en el cuero cabelludo, que pueden evolucionar a la formación de cicatrices y alopecia permanente. En este caso clínico describimos el manejo exitoso de un paciente con celulitis disecante del cuero cabelludo con el uso de isotretinoína y corticosteroides intralesionales. Se destaca la importancia del diagnóstico temprano y el tratamiento oportuno para prevenir complicaciones y mejorar la calidad de vida.
