Queilitis granulomatosa de Miescher tratada con hidroxicloroquina

Abstract

La queilitis granulomatosa de Miescher (QGM) es una entidad poco común, que se caracteriza por una tumefacción labial recurrente. Representa la forma monosintomática del síndrome de Melkersson-Rosenthal, definido por edema labial, parálisis facial y lengua fisurada. El diagnóstico se realiza mediante los hallazgos clínicos confirmados con la histología, en la que se evidencian granulomas no caseificantes. No hay un tratamiento de elección y la respuesta a estos es variable. Se presenta el caso de una paciente con QGM que tuvo una excelente evolución tras el tratamiento con hidroxicloroquina.
