Hiperplasia angiolinfoide con eosinofilia

Abstract

La hiperplasia angiolinfoide con eosinofilia (HALE) es una entidad benigna poco frecuente que afecta predominantemente a las mujeres de entre 40 y 50 años. Se caracteriza por la aparición de tumores eritematosos solitarios o múltiples, que se manifiestan comúnmente en la cabeza y el cuello. Puede ser asintomática, o presentar dolor, prurito o sangrado espontáneo, o ante traumatismos mínimos. El tratamiento consiste en la escisión quirúrgica, el uso de corticosteroides tópicos o intralesionales, y la crioterapia, entre otros. Se presentan los casos de 4 pacientes con diagnóstico de HALE atendidas en nuestra institución.
