Abstract

Como en cada número de Políticas de la Memoria, el Programa de memorias políticas feministas y sexo-genéricas, “Sexo y Revolución” (CeDInCI) publica un trabajo relacionado con alguno de sus objetivos. En este caso, se trata de “fortalecer el estudio y debate acerca de la relación de los movimientos de mujeres, los feminismos y los activismos sexo-genéricos con las izquierdas en todo su arco de expresión”. Con ese ambicioso horizonte a la vista, este ensayo propone una clave menos presente en los numerosos estudios acerca de la recepción de los acontecimientos de la Revolución rusa de 1917. Si bien su lectura local ha sido muy analizada, aquí se pretende comenzar a explorar algunos episodios sobre la relación de la denominada “cuestión sexual” con las noticias que llegaban de Rusia. Esos relatos alimentaban imaginarios de emancipación y ansiedades morales en las izquierdas, al tiempo que eran utilizados como prueba de “degeneración” e inmoralidad desde las derechas conservadoras.
