Studi Perilaku Sambungan Balok Kolom Baja Struktural Akibat Beban Siklik

Abstract

Pengujian elemen struktur yang dikenai beban siklik merupakan pengujian yang sangat penting untuk mengetahui perilaku komponen struktur. Pembebanan siklik dalam hal ini termasuk beban dinamik yang dapat menyebabkan keruntuhan. Keruntuhan ini dinamakan keruntuhan lelah (fatigue failure) yang dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor yang salah satunya adalah jumlah siklus pembebanan yang berulang-ulang. Fenomena kegagalan fatik ini dapat terjadi saat siklus tegangan pada struktur belum mencapai batas elastis, namun dapat menyebabkan kegagalan pada komponen hingga keruntuhan global struktur, keruntuhan tipe ini tidak menunjukkan tanda-tanda akan adanya deformasi sebagai peringatan bahaya pada struktur dan sangat sulit untuk menemukan retak fatik sampai pertumbuhan retak benar-benar terlihat. Dalam beberapa kasus, retakan merambat ke dalam kolom sehingga menghasilkan fraktur kolom. Banyak koneksi sistem struktur tersebut gagal pada tingkat stres yang relatif rendah dan di bawah beberapa siklus getaran yang signifikan, di mana diharapkan mereka pada dasarnya tetap elastis. Untuk mendapatkan hasil pengujian yang representatif, pengujian harus dilakukan dengan menggunakan peralatan yang dapat memberikan beban berulang, alasan biaya dan keterbatasan waktu untuk penelitian tentang perilaku sambungan, analisis elemen hingga adalah pendekatan secara numerik yang dapat mendekati akurat mensimulasikan perilaku struktur. Dari hasil analisis menggunakan Abaqus sambungan kolom HWF 400.400.13.21 dengan IWF 500.200.10.16 aman untuk menerima beban siklik.
