Dampak Paparan Kebisingan Lingkungan Kerja Terhadap Gangguan Pendengaran

Abstract

Paparan kebisingan di lingkungan kerja merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan kerja yang umum terjadi dan dapat berdampak serius terhadap kesehatan pendengaran pekerja. Kebisingan yang melampaui nilai ambang batas 85 dB dalam durasi kerja yang lama berpotensi menimbulkan gangguan pendengaran, baik sementara maupun permanen. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui metode literature review. Literatur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan 4 database elektronik yaitu Google Scholar, semantic Scholar, PubMed, dan ProQuest. Penelitian ini diambil dari 5 tahun terakhir dari masing masing jurnal. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini dilakukan mulai bulan Maret 2025 – April 2025. Paparan kebisingan di lingkungan kerja berdampak besar terhadap kesehatan pekerja dan dapat dikategorikan menjadi dampak permanen serta sementara. Dampak permanen berupa gangguan pendengaran (Noise-Induced Hearing Loss/NIHL) disebabkan oleh kerusakan sel rambut telinga akibat paparan suara intensitas tinggi, serta gangguan pada sistem vestibular yang mengganggu keseimbangan tubuh. Sementara itu, dampak sementara meliputi gangguan pendengaran yang dapat pulih setelah istirahat, penurunan kualitas tidur, gangguan konsentrasi, dan tinnitus yang dapat berkurang apabila paparan kebisingan dikendalikan. Oleh karena itu, pemahaman menyeluruh mengenai faktor-faktor risiko dan penerapan strategi pencegahan menjadi kunci dalam mewujudkan lingkungan kerja yang sehat dan aman, dan juga menurunkan angka kejadian gangguan pendengaran akibat kebisingan di tempat kerja.
