Rancang Bangun Alat Pengukuran Kadar Amonia Otomatis untuk Sistem Akuaponik

Abstract

Amonia (NH3) menjadi salah satu unsur kimia penting pada budidaya akuaponik, sistem budidaya yang menggabungkan akuakultur(budidaya ikan) dan hidroponik (budidaya tanaman tanpa tanah, menggunakan air) dalam satu kesatuan yang saling menguntungkan. Amonia dalam akuaponik adalah senyawa yang perlu diperhatikan karena bisa berbahaya bagi ikan, namun juga merupakan nutrisi penting bagi tanaman (dalam bentuk amonium, NH4). Oleh karenanya, amonia yang dihasilkan dari kotoran ikan perlu dikelola dengan baik agar tidak mencapai kadar yang membahayakan. Penelitian yang dilakukan ini bertujuan untuk merancang sebuah sistem pengukuran kadar amonia otomatis yang akan diterapkan pada kolam akuaponik di PT. Tanikota Agribudaya Edulestari (Tanikota) Bandung. Sistem dirancang dengan menggunakan mikrokontroler ESP32, pompa submersible, pompa peristaltik, sensor level dan sensor warna TCS-34725. Purwarupa sistem kemudian diuji selama tiga hari, dengan membandingkan hasil antara pengukuran/ pembacaan oleh sistem dengan hasil pengukuran secara manual. Hasil pengujian menghasilkan data kadar amonia kolam berada pada batas wajar/ normal stabil dengan akurasi 100%. Dari data pengujian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem dapat berfungsi secara baik dan efektif dan akurat.
