Abstract

Ermeni konusu yaklaşık 150 yıldır Türkiye Tarihini ve Türkiye’nin yakın ve uzak komşuları ile olan ilişkilerini etkilemiş ve etkilemeye de devam edecek hususlardan biridir. Her yıl dünyanın faklı ülkeleri tarafından dile getirilen Ermeni konusu ile mevzu kronik bir yara haline getirilmek istenmektedir. Mehmet Arif Demirer, “Turkish-Armenian Relations (1914-1921) Facing All The Facts” adlı eseri ile konuya okuyucunun karar vermesini istemiştir. Demirer, eserini yazarken özellikle yabancı kaynak ve kişileri delil göstermiştir. Böylece Ermeni konusuna taraf olan ve özellikle Türk tarafını suçlayanlar için kendi kaynakları ile cevap verme yolunu tutmuştur.
