Abstract

O presente artigo intitulado “Memória e identidade profissional docente” tem como principal objetivo analisar alguns conceitos de Memória, Identidade e Formação docente presentes na tese de doutorado da Profa. Dra. Iandra Fernandes Caldas nomeada “No tear do tempo, tecer memórias, (re) contar histórias de professores aposentados do curso de Pedagogia da UERN de Pau dos Ferros” (2021), buscando sempre compreender a memória enquanto faculdade psíquica, essencial para a constituição da identidade profissional docente por meio das experiências vividas individual e coletivamente que se entrelaçam e tecem construções históricas. Esta pesquisa se configura de cunho qualitativo, e assente na revisão de literatura de renomados estudiosos na esfera da memória e identidade docente, consolidando relevância e seriedade ao trabalho. Dialogando, especialmente com Brandão (2016), Caldas (2021), Candau (2016), Franco (2019), Nóvoa (1992), Nunes (2013) e Garcia (1999). Avança a discussão no âmbito da compreensão acerca da formação do professor, visando compreender as lembranças e relatos profissionais, como parte edificante da identidade docente, e ainda, procurando atribuir conceitos e significados que denotam destaque ao labor profissional do educador. Acreditamos que, os estudos deste trabalho, contribuirão para reflexões acerca da formação, DPD e identidade profissional docente, bem como, para pesquisas futuras no âmbito educacional.
