Analisis Penilaian Kondisi Perkerasan Jalan Dengan Metode PCI (Pavement Condition Index), SDI (Surface Distress Index) dan IRI (International Roughness Index)

Abstract

Jalan sangat penting bagi transportasi darat yang dapat memberikan pengaruh terhadap ekonomi, sosial, budaya maupun politik di suatu daerah, namun perkerasan jalan mengalami kerusakan dengan perkembangan penggunaan kenderaan serta beban yang berlebihan sehingga perlu adanya survei kondisi jalan. Penelitian dilakukan di jalan nasional Pulau Seram Barat, Maluku, jalan arteri pada ruas Sp.Waipirit-Sp.Eti dengan kategori rusak ringan, km. 00+000-02+000, dan kategori rusak berat km 02+000-03+433, ruas Waiselan-Latu kategori rusak ringan km. 00+000-02+000. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbandingan survei kondisi perkerasan jalan yang dilakukan secara 100% visual, dengan menggunkan alat, serta keunggulan dalam penilaian kondisi perkerasan jalan yang menggunakan metode PCI (Pavement Condition Index) dan SDI (Surface Distress Index). Hasil perhitungan metode PCI dan SDI sangat bervariasi berdasarkan kerusakan jalan pada unit sampel/segmen. Untuk menjadi satu penilaian pada tiap ruas dilakukan dengan cara analisis, korelasi dan grafik . Cara analisis menggunakan persamaan rata-rata kuadrat tunggal (quadratic mean)/ root mean square (rms), korelasi pearson product momen (r)/hubungan keeratan antara ketiga metode PCI, SDI dan IRI. Sedangkan cara grafik dengan menggunakan grafik korelasi mengetahui hubungan antara metode PCI, SDI dan IRI, berdasarkan grafik korealasi, metode PCI terhadap SDI dan IRI sangat jauh perbandingan hal ini karena PCI memiliki Sembilan belas parameter, SDI empat parameter. Kelanjutan penelitian ini adalah membandingkan metode PCI dengan sembilan belas parameter, disejajarkan dengan SDI dengan empat parameter
