Abstract

Metamfetamin atau di Indonesia biasa dikenal sebagai sabu-sabu merupakan turunan dari amfetamin yaitu sejenis stimulan sistem syaraf yang sering disalahgunakan dan menjadi salah satu obat terlarang di Indonesia dengan kasus tinggi. Pengujian kandungan metamfetamin dalam tubuh dapat dibuktikan dengan mengambil sampel cairan tubuh atau bukan cairan tubuh seperti urin, darah, keringat, saliva dan rambut. Tujuan dari review artikel ini adalah untuk memudahkan pembaca dan peneliti selanjutnya dalam memilih sampel dan metode analisis untuk mengetahui keberadaan metamfetamin dalam tubuh secara akurat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan kajian pustaka ini adalah dengan melakukan penelusuran pustaka dari penelitian yang berkaitan dengan metode analisis metamfetamin dalam sampel biologis rambut dan saliva. Sampel metamfetamin yang terdapat pada sampel biologis rambut maupun saliva mempunyai kadar yang sedikit sehingga diperlukan metode analisis yang sensitif dan akurat. Dari kedua metode yang dibahas pada review jurnal ini, HPLC memiliki hasil yang paling sensitif dan akurat yang dapat dilihat dari nilai Limit of Quantification (LOQ) dan Limit of Detection (LOD).
