Isolasi Senyawa Alkaloid Bahan Alam

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengisolasi dan mengidentifikasi senyawa golongan alkaloid dari beberapa sampel tumbuhan yang dipakai. Metode studi literatur review ini berasal dari tinjauan pustaka dan studi lainnya dengan mengumpulkan berbagai literatur yang relevan. Senyawa alkaloid merupakan senyawa organik terbanyak ditemukan di alam. Hampir seluruh alkaloid berasal dari tumbuhan dan tersebar luas dalam berbagai jenis tumbuhan. Pemeriksaan pada tanaman yang mengandung alkaloid terdapat beberapa tahapan, yaitu pengeringan, ekstraksi, fraksinasi, dan isolasi. Isolasi senyawa alkaloid dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan beberapa metode. Dalam proses ekstraksi digunakan metode maserasi 3x24 jam, selanjutnya proses fraksinasi menggunakan Kromatografi Cair Vakum (KCV) dengan fase diam silika gel dan fase gerak n-heksan: etil asetat dan fraksi tersebut diisolasi lagi menggunakan Kromatografi Kolom Gravitasi (KKG) dengan fase diam silika gel dan fase gerak nheksan: etil asetat. Fraksi tersebut dianalisis kemurniannya menggunakan Kromatografi Lapis Tipis (KLT) dengan fase diam silika gel254.
