Complicaciones postoperatorias en colecistectomía abierta

Abstract

OBJETIVO: Determinar las complicaciones postoperatorias en colecistectomía abierta a través de la clasificación de Clavien Dindo en el Hospital Regional de Zacapa de septiembre del 2025 a enero del 2026. METODOLOGÍA: Se desarrolló un estudio descriptivo transversal en el que se estudió 30 procedimientos quirúrgicos. RESULTADOS: La principal complicación postoperatoria correspondió al grado I con 86.67%. El sexo predominante fue el femenino con 80%. El grupo etario más frecuente fue el de 48 a 52 años con 23.33%. Las principales comorbilidades presentadas fueron diabetes mellitus tipo II con 13.33% e hipertensión arterial con 10%. El abordaje quirúrgico de emergencia presentó mayor frecuencia de complicaciones en los cuatro grados, siendo el grado I el más frecuente con 53.33%. La estancia hospitalaria varió según el grado de complicación, con una media de 6 días para el grado I, 8 días para el grado II, 5 días para el grado IIIa y 3 días para el grado IVa. El 3.33% de los pacientes requirió traslado a un hospital de tercer nivel. CONCLUSIÓN: La mayoría de los pacientes presentó complicaciones postoperatorias grado I según la clasificación de Clavien-Dindo, seguidas en menor proporción por los grados II, IIIa y IVa.
